q: WHy should we hire you?

 A: Great question. If your Marketing Division is feeling overwhelmed or you are feeling unorganized in your marketing efforts to promote a destination, we might be the right fit for you. Our client roster is exclusive and undergoes vetting before we even think about sending a proposal your way. Think of us as a launching pad for your destination. We only take on projects we know we have the bandwidth to support, and feel that we can make a true difference in. We help you up to a year get back on track and then step back.  

Q: WHO IS NOT YOUR CLIENT?

A: We don't work with retail, non-profits, Arts & Humanities, Business Services, or Fast Food Franchises. 

Q: WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?

A: Ashley Brown Strategy charges either hourly/day rates, or on retainers. Generally, we have found clients like to work up front on the hourly/day rates, and switch to retainers down the road. Our hourly fee is $125, and our day rate is $750. If traveling is involved, clients do cover cost of travel + accommodation. Retainers start at a minimum of $2000 per month and go upward depending the amount of work needed per project. Retainer amounts vary per client, usually with stipulations involved such as xx amount of days on site per month, etc, etc.  All work is tracked via a time-tracker app and sent to client at end of month with invoice showing how time was spent.

Q: THAT SOUNDS EXPENSIVE. IS THAT NORMAL?

A: We absolutely are. We are not cheap. We are a long term investment for your marketing team. We are extremely talented at what we do, and very serious about maintaining our reputation. Our work is polished, professional and timely. 

Q:  DO YOU REQUIRE A CONTRACT?

A: Retainer work, yes. We do require a contract that can be terminated with 60 days notice.  For one-time consulting, staff training, any other project based services will not result in the need for a signed agreement.

Q: DO YOU MAKE MARKETING MATERIALS?

A: We do not, but we oversee production of materials through our preferred vendor program, or through using your existing vendors. 

Q: WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANYONE HANDLE MARKETING FULL-TIME, AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WE ARE DOING. IS THAT OK?

A: Yes! If you are in a situation like this, that's great because we can help you build your marketing initiatives! It's ok if you feel lost. Our job is to remove the stress, and help you regain control of your Destination Marketing.
